Our Story

FX Coating was founded by Rick, a farmer who understood the importance of clean, durable, and safe environments in agriculture. After the family barn was lost to a fire, Rick shifted his focus from working the land to protecting it, laying the foundation for what FX Coating is today.

Rick remains actively involved, guiding the business with the same values that shaped its beginning. Now, his sons Brad and Dan proudly carry on their dad’s legacy leading day-to-day operations, handling the coatings themselves, and helping farms, food plants, and commercial facilities across Ontario stay sealed, safe, and strong. As defenders of the spaces that feed our communities, they remain true to their roots: family-owned, farm-raised, and committed to doing it right the first time.
