The Problem
In this facility, the walls were hard to clean, prone to flaking, and the many crevices provided spaces for bacteria to grow, making it a costly and time-consuming process to keep them up to code. Each cleaning cycle required significant effort, and with the possibility of an OMAFA audit looming, the stakes were high.
The FX Solution
We lined the entire wall with a non-porous reinforced coating that sealed off cracks and crevices where bacteria could hide. We then applied a specialized non-stick finish designed to prevent buildup and simplify cleaning. This dual-layer system not only created a seamless and hygienic wall surface but strengthened durability, and cut cleaning time in half.
